Freddie Gibbs and Madlib continue their phenomenal ongoing collaboration to drop the new video for their oh so soulful “Shame”, a track from the duo’s second EP. The video is the follow-up to “Thuggin’” directed by Jonah Schwartz and presents the ultimate juxtaposition with the Indiana rapper Gibbs rapping over the soulful Madlib beat, all the while we watch a non-stop parade of women doing lines of coke. The soulful hook is provided by BJ The Chicago Kid and compliments the song perfectly. I will be the first to admit that Gibb’s and Madlib make the best team in hip hop right now. We need more from these two. Watch “Shame” below.
