Sidewalk Hustle

Keep­ing up with the trend of clas­sic horror-movie remakes (Hal­loween, Texas Chain­saw Mas­sacre, Fri­day the 13th)  Michael Bay is pleased to present the lat­est offer­ing in this sub-genre with the cult clas­sic A Night­mare on Elm Street.  Directed by Samuel Bayer, and star­ing Jackie Earle Haley, of Watch­men fame, as Freddy Krueger.  From what I can see there seems to be a cou­ple of changes from the orig­i­nal, Freddy’s facial appear­ance, and his protes­ta­tions of inno­cence,  but oth­er­wise it does seem to be a lit­eral rein­ter­pre­ta­tion. This could obvi­ously go either way… obviously!Regardless the trailer does look pretty cool!
