All you video game enthu­si­asts out there will be pleased to hear that the lat­est game-to-film adap­tion Prince Of Per­sia: The Sands of Time is slated for release on May 28th 2010. Tak­ing the clas­sic 1980’s video game, Dis­ney Pic­tures and Jerry Bruck­heimer motion pic­tures has given this film an incred­i­bly star-studded and tal­ented cast, includ­ing Jake Gyl­len­hall as the prince and the beau­ti­fully viva­cious Gemma Arter­ton (Quan­tum of Solace, Rock N’ Rolla, Pirate Radio) as the princess, Alfred Molina as Sheik Amar, and Sir Ben Kings­ley as Nizam. From the trailer, this movie looks to be as breath­tak­ingly fan­tas­tic as the game, and with Jerry Bruck­heimer behind the pro­duc­tion board, you know its going to be an epic adven­ture of spe­cial effects, lav­ish cos­tumes, amaz­ing cin­e­matog­ra­phy, and prob­a­bly plenty of explo­sions.
