In an exclusive interview airing today on BBC’s Radio 1, Kanye West gets real about wanting to make his vision accessible for the people. Kanye’s been peddling his brand hard since the release of his last album The Life Of Pablo, inciting massive crowds to the pop-up shops shelling out TLOP themed merch – thankfully he knows those price tags aren’t befitting for the average person. Kanye states in his interview he’s been sorting out with Adidas to “to make a shoe that costs $30 and I’m gonna be the coolest shoe of all.” It’s highly ambitious, but if Kanye puts his mind to something, he’ll make it happen.

He also mentions wanting to work with renowned home goods supplier IKEA to expand his brand into the world of interior design:

“I have to work with IKEA – make furniture for interior design, for architecture and I know that if I do a minimalist apartment inside of a college dorm where the TV goes on the side of the wall… Yo IKEA, allow Kanye to create, allow him to make this thing because you know what, I want a bed that he makes, I want a chair that he makes – I want more products from Ye.”

We’d be down to incorporate a bit of Kanye into our living spaces. What do you think it’d look like? Hit us up on Twitter with your thoughts.

Tune into the interview this afternoon on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show at 2pm EST.
