Jordan Klassen covers HAIM

There are two extremes when it comes to a song cover that sounds very different from it’s original. It can either be three painful minutes of hearing an artist’s failing efforts crawl through the music or it can be a refreshing experience that almost (or sometimes tops) the feeling when you first head the original. Thankfully, Jordan Klassen’s take on “Falling” by the wonderful HAIM sisters was the latter and gave us a pleasant surprise.

Known for his indie folk and dreamy sound, the Canadian musician replaces the original heavy 80s pop-tinged electronic hooks with washes of harp sounds, hints of the violin, and beautiful female backing vocals to really make this song his own. Give it a spin below!
