Norwegian avant-pop artist Jenny Hval is releasing her sixth album, titled Blood Bitch, this fall. Earlier this summer she shared the hypnotizing video for “Female Vampire” and now she’s released the transfixing “Conceptual Romance,” which we cannot get enough of. The track is a softer melodic piece that thumps like a heartbeat, buzzes like noisy anxiety & cuts like a knife with lyrics like “I lose myself in the rituals of bad art, in failure, I want to give up but I can tell my heartbreak is too sentimental for you.”
