Last week we attended the official launch of a new Toronto venue The Hoxton. After much buzz surrounding the soft opening when The Twelves performed back in August we were intrigued and excited to check out the space before the many musical acts playing there this Fall.
Though the performance by The MAKEOVER (Jeremy Glenn & Rod Skimmins) was pretty lackluster, the white washed space has definite potential, migrating The Social’s lighting fixtures in a way at the grand front entrance. The guys at Embrace have booked quite a line up of musical acts for Fall, including Holy Ghost! who usually play much larger spaces supporting the likes of Cut Copy and LCD Soundsystem. Below are our picks for what to see this fall at The Hoxton.
