Okay. So when I told all of you about the Nike Air Yeezy’s I called that these snicks will eventually end up on eBay for a fortune. That came true, when the first pair sold at the Hong Kong store went on sale last week. I am pretty sure I also said that I didn’t want a pair unless the hype got the better of me. Well the hype has gotten the better of me. I want a pair. The official release date is this Saturday (April 4th) and people are already waiting in line outside of shoe stores across the continent. From L.A. to Toronto, people are not doing anything for the next three (3) days except wait outside of stores. I am both aghast and envious. I wish I had nothing else going on in my life that I could go stand in front of a store to spend my hard earn money on a pair of Nike high tops. But wait… how are these people able to afford anything if they have the time to waste three whole days doing nothing. Do they even have jobs? Do they know that there is an economic crisis currently destroying the world asunder.
I am such a sucker for hype. It is worse then a smack addiction (yeah I said it!) I just can’t help myself. Now I want them so bad. If people are lining up then they must be worth it. I mean they glow in the dark!!
