Madlib and Freddie Gibbs are back at it again as the two prepare for their upcoming full-length collaboration album Piñata. You certainly recall the greatness that was “Thuggin” and “Shame“, two old school gangsta tracks that raises the hairs on your arms. In preparation for Piñata, we get the official lead single “Deeper”, which will be released as its own EP on September 24, with the full length being released on February 4. Piñata will be produced by Madlib and feature a whole slew of contributors like Raekwon, Earl Sweatshirt, Danny Brown, Domo Genesis, Joey Bada$$, Ab-Soul, Mac Miller, and more.
