I hon­estly do not think that Kanye’s VMA out­burst was really that big of a deal. Seri­ously, and the ensu­ing bar­rage of Kanye inter­rup­tion jokes are lame at best.

So with that said, lets move on.

I am sad to announce that Kanye’s  long-rumored Pastelle cloth­ing col­lec­tion is not going to be released.  With over a years worth of work invested into design­ing this line, only four pieces have been offi­cially pro­duced. Which is strange because sev­eral pieces have been seen being worn by Kanye, and the other day a series of images from the Pastelle look book leaked onto the web. So why the sud­den about face? Well there is no offi­cial word as of yet but I really like the hypoth­e­sis that New York mag­a­zine came up with…

“Per­haps Kanye is the kind of cre­ator who is never sat­is­fied. The kind of cre­ator who never sees the genius in his own work. Karl Lager­feld may dash off sketch after sketch and pro­duce out­fit after out­fit, but maybe Kanye tor­ments him­self over every detail, never able to rec­on­cile his vision with the result­ing phys­i­cal prod­uct. There is talk how­ever that the line will be released in some form under Kanye’s name, so we’ll have to see what comes of it.
