There’s some­thing in the air this fall: an out­break of FASHION! This is not your aver­age virus, it’s much much more con­ta­gious! So run and hide! Some­where! Any­where! By the pool!?

In Vogue Italia’s lat­est issue Rianne ten Haken has got some­thing pretty toxic, which she no doubt caught from the pho­tog­ra­pher, Steven Meisel, a Vogue Italia reg­u­lar.

I’m not sure how I feel about fash­ion meld­ing with cur­rent events, but in this case I think it works. I love the 80’s styling on the cover and the urgency the back­ground crew has against Haken’s often pas­sive poses. Take a look at some of these infec­tiously fash­ion­able pho­tos.
