David Yurman has brought a little sparkle to North Toronto with their first ever Canadian store located in the swishier wing of Yorkdale Shopping Centre, just steps away from Burberry and Louis Vuitton. Though they opened in mid December, last nights launch event brought out some of their already established client base, a few hockey players, and the usual crowd of fashionable Torontonians.
Hosted by the dishy Toronto Maple Leafs alternate captain Joffrey Lupul, the launch event not only marked Yurman’s first Canadian retail presence, but donated a portion of its procceds to benefit Lupe’s Troops in support of Canadian Military service based organizations.
The champagne flowed and Lupul made a speech encouraging everyone to spend in support of the great cause. What’s a good launch party without a little charity to help justify splurging on some diamonds, right?
