After overshadowing Coachella last weekend with their teaser fragments of “Get Lucky,” Daft Punk have officially dropped the radio edit of their lead single from their upcoming Random Access Memories. The single is already a guaranteed summer club anthem in a somewhat interesting way. The track is a old-school disco jam with Pharrell doing his best 70’s crooner impersonation over the funk beats laid down by the two French androids and guitarist/dance music legend Nile Rodgers. Listen to this new/retro song that will hopefully precipitate a much-needed change in the EDM world. Enjoy.
