Caycee Black Fall 2010

Brooklyn designer Caycee Black is pretty blessed with diverse creative talent, to be honest, we’re a little jealous! In addition to designing her year old line, she doubles as a designer, ballerina, painter, and most recently began styling some of our favourite bands including The Pains of Being Pure At Heart, Regina Spektor, and ZAZA.

Before launching her line in the Fall of 2009, she attended Parsons School of Design and worked for Anna Sui, TIBI, and Club Monaco.

This season Black’s playful lookbook takes to the stage with designs she adapted from her paintings influenced by film and dance.

Styled by Jennifer Volodarsky, the collection features some pretty amazing coats (including one with a very practical and gracious hood), sweater dresses, flowy skirts, and flirty blouses.

Be sure to take a look at the photo and video lookbooks below, they’re pretty amazing, you’ll need a few minutes!
