Luxury outerwear brand Canada Goose, the world’s leading maker of fine Arctic apparel, officially opens the doors to their first-ever retail location. Of course, being a Canadian brand, the first flagship to open is in their hometown of Toronto at Yorkdale Shopping Centre. The new space is a massive 4,500 square feet that brings the Canada Goose story to life and features premiere Canadian design elements, the largest product offering, and an amazing in-store experience.

The flagship features more than 100 different styles in 40 unique colourways – the largest variety of Canada Goose products you’ll find in the world. Whether you’re shopping for something to wear in the city or on an outdoor adventure, the store delivers world-class service led by brand ambassadors with the expertise to suggest the perfect Canada Goose product. You can even book personal shopping appointments with brand ambassadors, leave purchases at the store while you shop, and enjoy the store’s carry-out to car or ship to home service. Class!

They will also stock all the special collaborations you want but can never get your hands on, like their recent capsule collection with Opening Ceremony, Toronto Blue Jays slugger, José Bautista, and their high fashion collection with Vetements. The shop will also stock several in-store exclusive styles, prints, and colours.

In addition a number of vintage pieces from the company’s six-decade long archives, including the Skreslet Parka, a refined and relaunched version of the jacket Laurie Skreslet developed with Canada Goose and wore when he became the first Canadian to summit Mt. Everest in 1982; and the Peace Keeper Parka which was custom designed more than a decade ago for the Canadian Rangers – the Canadian Armed Forces’ eyes and ears in the North.

As a testament to the brand’s role as a champion of Made in Canada, Canada Goose showcases Canadian artisans and craftsman like Jason Carter, an Aboriginal visual artist whose soapstone-carved polar bears are displayed throughout the store and are also a nod to the brands work with Polar Bears International. Bespoke Canadian design elements also connect the store to its home country including the large reception desk carved from a single piece of marble sourced from a quarry in British Columbia and handmade down-filled upholstered furniture from Montreal-based Montauk Sofa.

The brand is really in full flex mode with their first flagship location and from what we’ve seen, you’re not going to want to go elsewhere to shop Canada Goose.
