Last night we were invited to get cozy with Canada Goose to sneak a peek at what’s new for the fall winter season to keep us Canadian’s bundled up in style. Aside from their already super popular line of down-filled parkas trimmed with Coyote fur, they’ve continued to do beautifully fashionable things with this special Italian-made waterproof wool called Loro Piana.
A particular favourite among the mens pieces was the application of Loro Piana to a more tailored, sophisticated styles, like a button down leather trimmed over coat, which almost seemed out of place amongst the plethora of fur trim. Also new for the season were a fresh range of lighter, under-stuffed coats in the HyBridge collection, which are both fashionable, and provide a bit of warmth in an unpredictable mid-season. Favourites for women were the opaque white lightweight HyBridge jacket with understated collar, as well as an adorable light weight down filled skirt.
We were really impressed with the styling of the coats at the preview this year as well. Such a simple finishing touch, perfectly highlighted each incredible coat’s layering potential, making Canada Goose feel much more urban this season.
