Camp Wavelength 2015: Holy Fuck & Doldrums

Holy Fuck Featured-1

Night 1 of Camp Wavelength kicked off on Toronto Island on Friday night. Headlined by recently reformed Toronto analog electronic band Holy Fuck, crowds swarmed to the island for the festival. Holy Fuck are coming off a sizeable hiatus while they’ve all been working on other projects, despite a late start due to issues setting up their multitudes of equipment, once they started it felt like no time had passed at all. Falling into the groove created by their organic electronic music the new songs sounded fantastic, as did the few older songs slipped into the set.

Playing before them was Toronto electronica band Doldrums, anchored by brothers Airick and Daniel Woodhead at the front for this show. Quickly getting the scattered crowd together and dancing, they made their way through a quick 40 minute set of electronic jams.
