I think it’s safe to say that the Cat Eye is not going anywhere soon, but, it might be changing locations. By locations, I mean lash lines, and by changing, I mean the lower lash line. Crazy, right?! Not so, as this look was made popular at this year’s New York Fashion Week by beauty genius Lauren Anderson, who created the look for the Nicholas Kirkwood Fall/Winter 2014 runway show. Part feminine, part punk, this seductive trend gives the typical cat eye a run for its money.
Want to get this look? Follow 2 easy steps below!
1. Using a sharp yet soft gel pencil in the colour of your choice (black is always best), line the bottom lash line of your eye. Keep the line as fluid as you would when using a liquid liner. Extend the flick slightly upwards and out.
2. Double up with mascara on the bottom lashes, keeping only one coat on the top lashes. Done! You are now perfectly pretty and punk.
