Red Bull Music Academy has released their latest edition of their web series, The Junction, featuring BadBadNotGood and Samuel T Herring. Accompanying the month-long residence in Montreal, the series is a celebration of Canadian creativity and co-operation. Illustrated by the country’s top animators, each episode brings to life the story of a different musical collaboration.
This episode, episode six, titled Three Lucky Chords, tells the story of Future Islands’ shaky-legged frontman Samuel T Herring’s studio session with Toronto’s free-form jazz-rap four-piece BadBadNotGood. Animator Kyle Mowat provides the visuals.
