adidas has officially unveiled the latest colourway of James Harden’s signature shoe, dubbed the Vol. 1 Grayvy. The name is inspired by not only the grey colour palette but also Harden’s smooth style that has become his trademark across his eight years in the National Basketball Association.

Harden’s shoes are known for erring more on the lifestyle end of sneaker design versus a traditional on-court look, which has given them a wide appeal among sneakerheads outside of those who favour basketball shoes. “We tried to find a shoe that would give me that swag,” shares Harden, “that’s how the grey was created, it all flows. You look good, you play good.” The Grayvy’s sport a glitch knit upper, leather toe shroud, light grey accents across the Three Stripes and Harden’s signature branding. Finishing details include matte detailing, a full-length BOOST and an icy blue outsole for ultimate cool factor.
