In an interesting twist of collaborative fate, Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky and dub-step wiz-kid Skrillex have teamed up for a bit of Trap meets dubstep on the new “Wild For The Night” track. Apparently the two genre-leading artists were just hanging out in the studio which turned into an impromptu studio session which resulted in the appropriately titled track. I will admit that upon hearing of the collaboration my interests were piqued, but I didn’t expect much. The track definitely delivered well beyond my expectations.
“Wild For the Night” will be on the long-awaited Long.Live.A$AP which is out January 15. Listen to the track below:
