Tune into the Polaris Music Prize Gala on 9/19 to see the winner announced. Much like the UK’s Mercury Prize, the Polaris Prize awards the best full-length Canadian album with $50,000. A few past Polaris winners have been Final Fantasy (Owen Pallett), Caribou, Feist, and Arcade Fire.
